KOROR, Palau (April 1, 2025) – Cmdr. Travis Brinkman, commanding officer Naval Mobile COnstruction Battalion (NMCB) 3, left, is briefed by project supervisor, Builder 2nd Class Andres Luz, center, and crew leader, Builder 2nd Class Liam McCarthy, on the ongoing construction of baseball dugouts. Detail Palau provided high-quality construction support for the Mini Games, helping deliver the project successfully while showcasing the skills and capabilities of the U.S. Navy’s construction forces and strengthening partnerships with Pacific Island nations. NMCB-3 serves as the stand-in engineering force for Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet, executing high-quality construction operations, activities, and investments, and is capable at the unit-of-action level of supporting major combat operations in the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command area of responsibility with efficient airfield, waterfront, and advanced base construction.
