Lincoln Reifsteck, prospective commander, Submarine Group 7, reads his orders during a change of command ceremony at Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka, March 28, 2025. During the ceremony, Rear Adm. Chris Cavanaugh was relieved by Reifsteck as commander, Submarine Group 7. Submarine Group 7 directs forward-deployed, combat capable forces across the full spectrum of undersea warfare throughout the Western Pacific, Indian Ocean, and Arabian Sea.
