DILI, Timor-Leste (Feb. 02, 2025) Detail Timor-Leste Seabees, assigned to U.S. Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, take a break to appreciate the natural vegetation on a morning hike that was 1.5 miles long, led by a local tour guide. NMCB-3 serves as the stand-in engineering force for the Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet, executing high-quality construction operations, activities, and investments. The battalion operates at the unit-of-action level to support major combat operations in U.S Indo-Pacific Command area of responsibility with expertise in airfield, waterfront, and advanced base construction.
