Sailors assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Mustin (DDG 89) help prepare a Search and Rescue (SAR) litter for deployment at Naval Base San Diego. By launching the litter from the ship, swimmers and boat deck crews get hands-on training with the SAR litter, an advanced technique critical to patients who need to be kept still.
