BRITISH INDIAN OCEAN TERRITORY, DIEGO GARCIA (Feb. 26, 2025) The Diego Garcia Facility Response Team (FRT) conducted their final spill exercise, February 26, 2025. The Rapid Response Skimmer (RRS) began independently skimming any simulated free-floating product. Once all free-floating product had been recovered, the FRT Leader directed the RRS to return the small boat basin and commence offload with the moored Ship’s Waste Offload Barge (SWOB).
