Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Andrew Bouges and Hospital Apprentice Romeo Taskiran with Expeditionary Medicine Facility (EMF) 150 Alpha, transfer a simulated surgical patient from a rickshaw litter carrier onto the operating room bed in preparation of surgery during an EMF training conducted by Naval Expeditionary Medicine Warfighter Development Center (NEMWDC), Feb. 15 - 28. The EMF course prepares military medical personnel to provide critical care in challenging and austere environments, focusing on operational medicine, trauma response, and mission readiness to support expeditionary forces worldwide.
