ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam (Feb. 26, 2025) — U.S. Navy Vice Adm. Daniel Cheever, commander, Naval Air Forces, U.S. Pacific Fleet, tours Hangar 7 at Andersen Air Force Base to meet with Sailors assigned to Unmanned Patrol Squadron (VUP) 19 and learn more about MQ-4C Triton operations in the Indo-Pacific during a visit to Guam, Feb. 26.
Cheever and his staff visited Guam military leaders while touring the Indo-Pacific to meet with Sailors, Airmen, command leadership, and military spouses to strengthen fleet readiness, enhance morale, retention, and promote the importance of joint force cooperation.
The MQ-4C Triton's deployment in Guam plays a crucial role in enhancing the Navy's intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance capabilities in the Indo-Pacific region, supporting joint and allied operations, and contributing to regional security and stability.
