ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam (Feb. 26, 2025) — U.S. Navy Vice Adm. Daniel Cheever, commander, Naval Air Forces, U.S. Pacific Fleet, prepares to pilot an MH-60S Seahawk during a visit to Andersen Air Force Base, Feb. 26.
Cheever and his staff visited Guam military leaders while touring the Indo-Pacific to meet with Sailors, Airmen, command leadership, and military spouses to strengthen fleet readiness, enhance morale, retention, and promote the importance of joint force cooperation.
HSC-25 supports maritime security in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations and maintains a 24-hour search and rescue and medical evacuation alert posture, directly assisting U.S. Coast Guard Forces Micronesia/Sector Guam and Joint Region Marianas. (U.S. Navy photo by William J. Busby III)
