ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam (Feb. 26, 2025) — U.S. Navy Vice Adm. Daniel Cheever, commander, Naval Air Forces, U.S. Pacific Fleet, and Cmdr. Christopher Waddell, executive officer of the “Island Knights” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 25, taxi an MH-60S Seahawk after landing during a visit to Andersen Air Force Base, Feb. 26.
Cheever and his staff visited Guam military leaders while touring the Indo-Pacific to meet with Sailors, Airmen, command leadership, and military spouses to strengthen fleet readiness, enhance morale, retention, and promote the importance of joint force cooperation.
HSC-25 supports maritime security in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations and maintains a 24-hour search and rescue and medical evacuation alert posture, directly assisting U.S. Coast Guard Forces Micronesia/Sector Guam and Joint Region Marianas. (U.S. Navy photo by William J. Busby III)
