BOSTON --Major General Ray Shields, the adjutant general of New York, left, administers the oath of office to Brig. Gen. Kenneth P. Wisniewski III, during his promotion to the rank of one-star general, at Faneuil Hall in Boston, December 7, 2024. Wisniewski, a former member of the Massachusetts Army National Guard, will serve as an assistant adjutant general assigned to Joint Force Headquarters in Latham, New York.
