Airmen from the 2nd Civil Engineer Squadron completed the construction of a new airfield perimeter fence at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Nov. 8, 2024. Tension wires are designed to keep the fence fabric tight to the posts and rails, preventing a collapse, which supports and strengthens the fence.
