A U.S. Air Force F-15E Strike Eagle pilot and weapons system officer from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base's 335th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron, prepare to participate in exercise Yellow Sands 24.5 over the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, July 30, 2024. The F-15E is a two-seat, dual-role, fighter allowing for a weapons system officer to manage weapons and aircraft systems while conducting operations within the CENTCOM area of responsibility.
