    240911-N-ML137-1014 ASAN, Guam (Sept. 11, 2024) - U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Brent DeVore, commander, Joint Region Marianas, gifts retired Petty Officer 3rd Class Allan Chatwin, a 98-year-old World War II veteran, with a command coin at JRM headquarters during his first trip back to Guam since the war, Sept. 11. Chatwin was drafted into the U.S. Navy in 1944 and sent to Canandaigua Lake, N.Y. for basic training.
