    115th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment

    A barrier at Patrol Base Howell in Riyad stands in honor of its namesake, Pfc. George Howell, revealed during a dedication ceremony held on April 26, in Riyad, Iraq. Howell was killed during an improvised explosive device attack while conducting combat operations in the district of Hawijah, Dec. 21, 2007. He was a member of 2nd Platoon, Delta Company, 1st Battalion, 87th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade, 10th Mountain Division.
