NAVAL AIR STATION NORTH ISLAND, Calif. (Aug. 2, 2024) Lt. Cmdr. Patricia Kruezberger, Public Affairs Officer of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73), speaks to a group of Boy Scouts from Troop 801 from Coronado, California, during a tour as part of an event hosted by Commander, Naval Air Forces, U.S. Pacific Fleet to help the troop earn their aviation merit badge while pierside in Naval Station North Island, Coronado, California, Aug. 2, 2024. As an integral part of U.S. Pacific Fleet, U.S. 3rd Fleet operates naval forces in the Indo-Pacific in addition to providing realistic and relevant training necessary to flawlessly execute our Navy’s timeless roles of sea control and power projection.
