    3rd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division

    Col. Wayne W. Grigsby Jr., from Prince George's County, Md., commander of the 3rd BCT, thanks a reservist for his service, at the Hammer Dining Facility on April 23. The 3rd BCT celebrated the 100th anniversary of the U.S. Army Reserves with a cake. Maj. Daniel McCabe, from Knoxville, Tenn., a reservist team chief for Company A, 489th Civil Affairs Battalion, also from Knoxville, currently attached to the 3rd BCT, was honored that Grigsby recognized the reserve Soldiers. "Our relationship with the 3rd BCT has been excellent," he said. "We are all very proud of what we have accomplished here."
