Col. Wayne W. Grigsby, Jr., from Prince George's County, Md., commander of the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, cuts a cake celebrating the U.S. Army Reserve's 100th anniversary with reservists currently attached to the 3rd BCT, at the Hammer Dining Facility, on April 23. Grigsby praised the reservists and their contributions to the 3rd BCT's success in the Mada'in Qada. "For the last 100 years, the U.S. Army Reserve has been an important part of our organization," he said. "In the last five years, it has become a vital part of our mission. All of you have been an invaluable part of our team and our mission ... We cannot thank you enough for your service and your patriotism."
