YOKOSUKA, Japan (April 25, 2024) — Participants of a beach cleanup event as part of Earth Day observance onboard Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka pose for a photo. More than 40 Sailors, civilians and Japanese employees across the command cleaned up the beach behind the Navy Exchange Yokosuka’s warehouse. For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet’s forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
