YOKOSUKA, Japan (April 25, 2024) — Sailors attached to the Arleigh Burke-class Aegis guided missile destroyer USS Milius (DDG 69) pick up trash during a beach cleanup event as part of Earth Day observance. More than 40 Sailors, civilian and Japanese employees onboard Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) volunteered and cleaned up the beach behind the Navy Exchange Yokosuka’s warehouse. For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet’s forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
