After relinquishing command of Eighth Army, Lt. Gen. Bill Burleson (left) retired from the U.S. Army after 36 years of service, April 5, 2024, at Camp Humphreys, South Korea. His wife Cynthia was presented a certificate of appreciation by Gen. Paul LaCamera, U.S. Forces Korea commander, for her support of her husband and the Army.
