Wasmund, commanding general of the U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa, awards one U.S. Army Meritorious Service Medal, two U.S. Army Commendation Medals, and one U.S. Army Achievement Medal to soldiers of the French army's 3rd Division during an award ceremony at the 3rd Div. headquarters, in Marseille, France, March 22, 2024. The soldiers were a crucial part of the success of the first U.S. general officer to serve as deputy commander of a French division.
