PACIFIC OCEAN (February 10, 2024) — The guided-missile destroyer USS Russell (DDG 59) breaks away from the Henry J. Kaiser-class fleet replenishment oiler USNS Pecos after refueling. The evolution kicked off the Russell's 2024 and was a simultaneous evolution with the Zumwalt Class Guided Missile Destroyer USS Michael Monsoor. The Russell is on a regularly scheduled deployment to the Western Pacific. (U.S. Navy photo by Chief Mass Communication Specialist Mark D. Faram)
