U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Seth Blomgren, a cyber surety journeyman, and Airman 1st Class Aubrey Corley, a client services apprentice, from the 133rd Communications Flight, secure mast guy wires for a tactical antenna during a winter training exercise at a remote location outside of Grand Marais, Minnesota, Jan. 29, 2024. The Airmen were transitioning from the near vertical incidence skywave antenna to the larger whip antenna to increase the communications range capabilities. The joint training exercise allowed communications experts from the Minnesota National Guard - to include the 148th Fighter Wing, the 133rd Airlift Wing, the 55th Civil Support Team, and J6 - the ability to set up, troubleshoot and operate equipment at multiple locations under adverse conditions.
