U.S. Army Sgt. Charles Yibokou, an interoperability communications noncommissioned officer, J6, Minnesota National Guard, sets up a High Frequency tactical radio during a winter training exercise at a remote location outside of Grand Marais, Minnesota, Jan. 29, 2024. The Minnesota National Guard tested long-haul capabilities in coordination with the Delaware National Guard during the exercise. The joint training exercise allowed communications experts from the Minnesota National Guard - to include the 148th Fighter Wing, the 133rd Airlift Wing, the 55th Civil Support Team, and J6 - the ability to set up, troubleshoot and operate equipment at multiple locations under adverse conditions.
