    SAN DIEGO (Jan. 25, 2024) - Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Emma Jones, a native of Laguna Hills, California, assigned to USS Boxer (LHD 4), dons her gloves during biological warfare confirmatory detection training with the Next Generation Diagnostic System proficiency testing team with Naval Medical Research Command in the ship’s medical lab. This training is intended to enhance Boxer’s ability to properly handle samples from suspected biological attacks and to provide accurate, expedited results to best preserve the health and readiness of shipboard personnel.
