A participant and designated squad leader for the day during Socom Athlete's Hell Day event takes a moment of rest before starting the next circuit of exercise at the beach portion of the afternoon.The Hell Day Event, and the program as a whole, which includes organized team chats that require group training and accountability, prepare participants to excep in their path to enlisting as a special forces operator in the united states military, regardless of branch. .
The Florida Army National Guard's own 3rd Battalion, 20th Special Forces Group sent soldiers down to support the event as instructors, and so they could motivate and inform candidates on what will be required of them to pass the army's Special Forces Readiness Evaluation.
