John Evans, bulk fuel specialist, 7th Engineer Support Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group poses in front of a hose reel at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Aug. 30, 2023. Evans designed a device enabling a single Marine to safely stow and unreel water and fuel hoses during field operations, alleviating the traditional requirements of a four-person team.
