BREMERTON, Wash. (Aug. 7, 2023) – A Professional Apprenticeship Career Track (PACT) Sailor assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) sits with an enlisted community manager for supply ratings during the MyNavy HR Career Development Symposium (CDS) Pacific Northwest held at Naval Base Kitsap - Bremerton, Aug. 7, 2023. The Fleet Engagement Team provided career counseling to 133 PACT Sailors from Naval Base Kitsap - Bremerton, Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, and Naval Station Everett, which resulted in 118 Sailors gaining a rating with follow-on orders or on track for a rating that requires a package submission. Hosted by Navy Personnel Command, the symposium enabled Sailors to learn about and discuss career benefits and opportunities directly with leaders, detailers, community managers, and program representatives.
