Jorrie Hart, right, 114th Public Affairs, South Dakota Air National Guard, participate in a public affairs subject matter expert exchange as part of the National Guard Bureau's State Partnership Program, in coordination with U.S. Southern Command, July 19-20, 2023. The most recent exchange sent three South Dakota National Guard public affairs experts to Paramaribo, Suriname to spend two days discussing communications strategies, media relations and photography techniques with members of the Suriname Defense Forces in an effort to develop a mutually beneficial, long-term security cooperation relationship between the two partners.
