Amy Rittberger, public affairs officer, 114th Fighter Wing public affairs, South Dakota Air National Guard, discusses communications strategies during a communications conference exchange in Paramaribo, Suriname, July 19-20. The communications conference, part of the Suriname and South Dakota State Partnership Program, provided an opportunity for South Dakota National Guard public affairs experts to discuss communications strategies and media relations best practices with members of the Suriname Defense Forces in an effort to develop a mutually beneficial, long-term security cooperation relationship between the two partners.
