U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Craig Strong speaks to a formation of more than 200 Soldiers and Airmen as well as hundreds of other guests as he assumes command of the Nebraska National Guard from outgoing adjutant general U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Daryl Bohac during a change of command ceremony, July 8, 2023, at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska. During the ceremony, Strong was promoted to the rank of major general and officially appointed Nebraska’s 34th adjutant general. Bohac retires after 45 years of dedicated military service, including a decade as the Nebraska adjutant general.
