State Command Sgt. Maj. Scott Hansen furls the two-star major general flag belonging to Maj. Gen. Daryl Bohac, Nebraska’s 33rd adjutant general, during the Nebraska Adjutant General Change of Command Ceremony, July 8, 2023, at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska. State Command Chief Master Sgt. Jeffrey Horne then sheathed the flag, symbolizing Bohac’s official retirement from the Nebraska National Guard after 45 years of military service. U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Craig Strong will now serve as the Nebraska’s 34th adjutant general.
