The Oregon National Guard’s U.S. delegation stand together with members of the Vietnam National Committee for Incident, Disaster Response and Search & Rescue (VINASARCOM) delegation during the opening ceremony for the Disaster Management Engagement Activity (DMEA) in Hai Phong, Vietnam, May 15, 2023. DMEA is a weeklong training event which provides a platform for both countries to share their best practices in regards to disaster response. The Oregon National Guard and VINASARCOM are partners through the National Guard’s State Partnership Program (SPP).
