Multiple M4 Carbine assualt rifles sit on top of a high molbility multi-purpose wheeled vehicle (HMMWV) while U.S. Marines from 1st Marine Logistics Group (1st MLG) Personal Security Detail (PSD) shoot their M9 pistols at Joe Foss Range aboard Camp Al Taqaddum, Al Anbar, Iraq, Feb.10. PSD provides security for the commanding general of 1st MLG as well as other high priority personnel within the 1st MLG. 1st MLG is deployed with Multi National Force - West in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Al Anbar province of Iraq to develop Iraqi security forces, facilitate the development of official rule of law through democratic reforms, and continue the development of a market based economy centered on Iraqi reconstruction.
