Marine Cpl. Ian. E. Peterson, with 1st Marine Logistics Group (1st MLG) Personal Security Detail (PSD), fires his M4 assault rifles to align their advanced combat optical gunsight (ACOG) for their battle sight zero (BZO) at Joe Foss Range aboard Camp Al Taqaddum, Al Anbar, Iraq, Feb., 10. OSD provides security for the Commanding General of 1st MLG as well as other high priority personnel within the 1st MLG. 1st MLG is deployed with Multi National Force - West in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Al Anbar province of Iraq to develop Iraqi security forces, facilitate the development of official rule of law through democratic reforms, and continue the development of a market based economy centered on Iraqi reconstruction.
