30th Security Forces Squadron members smile as they row toward the finish line during Space Launch Delta 30's Hawkulture Day regatta May 18, 2023, at the Vandenberg Space Force Base swimming pool. Space Launch Delta 30 hosted its bi-annual Hawkulture Day to promote a culture of caring for fellow Airmen and Space Force Guardians. Units engaged in team-building activities and heard from notable speakers, such as U.S. Space Force Chief Master Sgt. Heath Jennings, SLD 30 senior enlisted leader, U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Cherise Mosley, SLD 30 senior enlisted airman, and motivational speaker, Ed Carcarey. The annual regatta culminated with the EOD team winning the coveted trophy. The afternoon ended with remarks from U.S. Space Force Col. Rob Long, SLD 30 commander, and the presentation of several team awards. The Hawk's COVE organized the days events.
