Airman 1st Class Daniel Hobelman, 30th Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordnance Disposal apprentice, races to the finish line during Space Launch Delta 30's Hawkulture Day regatta May 18, 2023, at the Vandenberg Space Force Base swimming pool. Hawkulture Day promotes a culture of caring for fellow Airmen and Space Force Guardians. Units engaged in team-building activities and heard from notable speakers, such as U.S. Space Force Chief Master Sgt. Heath Jennings, SLD 30 senior enlisted leader, U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Cherise Mosley, SLD 30 senior enlisted airman, and motivational speaker, Ed Carcarey. The annual regatta culminated with the EOD team winning the coveted trophy.
