JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. – A Green Beret with 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) receives information for a nine-line call from a U.S. Army resident with Madigan Army Medical Center during Madigan Army Medical Center’s Graduate Medical Education (GME) Capstone Event on May 17, 2023. The GME Capstone Event is a five-day exercise undergone by more than 70 graduating resident physicians that tests various tactical and medical skills in a simulated combat environment. During the event the doctors were escorted by Green Berets with 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) who provided notional safety and security.
