1st Lt. Amaryllis Cotto, 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron aerial reconnaissance weather officer, briefs about her duties to the Dominican Republic’s National Meteorological Office, Gloria Ceballos, and air force leadership team during the Caribbean Hurricane Awareness Tour in Santo Domingo, April 20, 2023. The tour gave the public the opportunity to learn about the aerial weather reconnaissance mission and the importance of being prepared for the upcoming hurricane season. This year the Hurricane Hunters were able to showcase their Reserve Citizen Airmen crew and the WC-130J Super Hercules aircraft.
