Jamie Rhome, National Hurricane Center deputy director, and Maj. Philip Blancher, 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron pilot, brief Wayne Panton, Premier of the Cayman Islands, about the Caribbean Hurricane Awareness Tour and the WC-130J Super Hercules aircraft, April 19, 2023 in Grand Cayman Island. The tour gave the public the opportunity to learn about the aerial weather reconnaissance mission and the importance of being prepared for the upcoming hurricane season. This year the Hurricane Hunters were able to showcase their Reserve Citizen Airmen crew and the WC-130J Super Hercules aircraft.
