In March 2023, Spc. Thai Davis, a crew chief from the 3rd Battalion, 501st Aviation Regiment (TF Apocalypse) received an appointment to the prestigious U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Shown is his team presenting him with his official appointment note in front of a 1st Armored Division emblazoned UH-60 Blackhawk. The Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Armored Division is among other units assigned to the 1 ID, operating out of FOS Powidz, proudly working alongside NATO allies and regional security partners to provide combat-credible forces to V Corps, America's forward-deployed corps in Europe.
