A 33rd Rescue Squadron HH-60 Pave Hawk flies through mountains near Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, to kick off the first day of Pacific Thunder 2012 during a combat search and rescue training mission at Osan AB Oct. 12, 2012. Pacific Thunder 2012 is an annual two-week exercise where members of the 33rd and 31st Rescue Squadrons met up with the 25th Fighter Squadron and multiple other units at Osan AB, to test CSAR tactics to prepare for real-world emergency situations.
