NFL Hall of Famer Mike Singletary speaks to the audience at the Iron Summit, a conference of company to brigade level leaders from the 1st Armored Division and other Fort Bliss units, at the El Paso Convention Center, in El Paso, Texas, Dec. 13, 2022. Singletary shared his story of humble beginnings and his views on the importance of perseverance and caring for others. “But you can't be in the middle because you're looking to be -- you've got decisions to make,” said Singletary to almost 800 1st AD Soldiers in attendance. “People are depending on the decisions that you have to make.”
