Ellison, commanding general of Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory (MCWL)/Futures Directorate, Combat Development and Integration, greets Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES) staff at Marine Corps Support Facility New Orleans, Dec. 13, 2022. The MCWL/Futures and Capabilities Development Directorate teams met with MARFORRES and Marine Forces South leaders to provide updates on Force Design 2030 related science and technology, experimentation, wargaming and modelling and simulation efforts. The Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory generates and examines threat-informed, operating concepts and capabilities and provides analytically-supported recommendations to inform subsequent force design and development activities.
