Brig. Gen. Stephen Lightfoot, director of Capabilities Development Directorate (CDD), Combat Development and Integration, greets Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES) staff at Marine Corps Support Facility New Orleans, Dec. 13, 2022. Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory/Futures and CDD met with MARFORRES and Marine Forces South staff to increase the Reserve Components’ involvement in future experimentation. CDD develops and integrates warfighting capabilities solutions that provide for an effective Marine Air Ground Task Force capability, current and future, that anticipates strategic challenges and opportunities for the nation's defense.
