221128-N-ER894-1017 PHILIPPINE SEA (Nov. 28, 2022) Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Rusty Lina, from Oxnard, California, prepares to receive his frocking letter during a frocking ceremony in the hangar bay aboard the U.S. Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), in the Philippine Sea, Nov. 28. During the ceremony, more than 240 Sailors were frocked to the next paygrade. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the United States, and supports Alliances, partnerships and collective maritime interests in the Indo-Pacific region.
