221021-N-KD414-0504 PORT HUENEME, Calif. (Oct. 21, 2022) – A Seabee Chief Petty Officer leads a crane operation team during the raising of a ceremonial flag for a chief pinning ceremony. Sixty-five Sailors assigned to perspective commands onboard Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC) donned a pair of gold-fouled anchors for the first time to become the 129th class of chief petty officers, Oct 21, 2022. NBVC is a strategically located Naval installation composed of three operating facilities: Point Mugu, Port Hueneme and San Nicolas Island.
