U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Gabriela Gonzalez, with 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit assists Philippine Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Bertwin G. Ballatan at Naval Education, Training and Doctrine Command in Zambales, Philippines, Oct. 3, 2022, during KAMANDAG 6. The class was intended to exchange knowledge of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear tactics and procedures between the U.S. and Philippine Marine Corps and Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force. KAMANDAG is an annual, bilateral exercise between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the U.S. military designed to strengthen interoperability, capabilities, trust and cooperation built over decades of shared experiences.
