Ashley Chavez gives a class on M50 joint-service, general-purpose masks to Philippine Marines at Naval Education, Training and Doctrine Command in Zambales, Philippines, Oct. 3, 2022, during KAMANDAG 6. The class was intended to exchange knowledge of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear tactics and procedures between the U.S. and Philippine Marine Corps. KAMANDAG is an annual, bilateral exercise between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the U.S. military designed to strengthen interoperability, capabilities, trust and cooperation built over decades of shared experiences.
