The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Autoridad de Energía Eléctrica (AEE) inspect the Guajataca Dam after the passing of Hurricane Fiona. Guajataca Dam is one of the 37 dams around the Island. USACE and AEE are partners to ensure that structures such as the Guajataca Dam are monitored and inspected as a part of our overall Dam Safety program. Life safety is our number one priority. USACE's, Jacksonville Districts, Antilles Office, structural engineer Jorge Rivera (center), USACE's, Jacksonville District's, Chief of GeoSystems Branch, Dennis Zeveney, document the condition of the Guajataca Dam with AEE's, Guajataca Dam operator, Nexson Jove.
